Maserati of Daytona is proud to announce that it will be offering various limited edition Zegna inspired interiors. Owners will enjoy an exclusive way to travel around in high style, helping their purchase stand out even more than the average Maserati. The whole program is designed to help draw in even more customers, helping establish the brand firmly in the U.S. automotive market to ensure strong long-term growth, all without betraying its legacy as an Italian automaker.
The new made to measure interiors, which are styled by legendary designer Ermenegildo Zegna, will only be available for the Ghibli and Quattroporte. It’s not the first time the car company and Zegna have teamed up. The new interiors will be available for purchase this fall for 2016 models. Fueling the inspiration for the offerings is the Maserati Ghibli Ermenegildo Zegna concept car, which was put on display during the 2015 New York International Auto Show.
Anyone who options for a Zegna-designed interior won’t regret the decision. The bespoke style not only will look and feel exclusive, it also packages what’s best about Italian design and materials quality. Buyers will be able to personalize the interior, allowing them to achieve a look that is “the absolute opposite of ordinary.”
Three specific color combinations will be available to buyers of the Ghibli and Quattroporte. One bundles Black Poltrona Frau leather with Anthracite Ermenegildo Zegna Silk. Contrasting grey stitching is featured on the door panels, seats and dashboard for a bold fashion statement. For the second option, the interior comes with Natural Poltrona Frau leather upholstery, plus the Anthracite Ermenegildo Zegna Silk and the same contrast grey stitching. The third is the same as the other two, only with Red Poltrona Frau leather. The silk will be used as inserts on the seats and door panels, providing a standout look that is sophisticated and elegant. Thanks to hand-stitched macro-chevron on the door inserts, the silk has an even more dramatic effect on the sedan’s interior. Alternating rib embroidery introduces even more drama. On the seats, the silk is used on the backrest and central area. With the micro-chevron weave, the material takes on a more three-dimensional look.
Connoisseurs of luxury will appreciate the fine materials used throughout the vehicle cabins, plus the harmonic mixture of opposites. The end result is an occupant area that’s completely fascinating to see and experience.
The Ghibli Ermenegildo Zegna Edition wears an exclusive Azzurro Astro paint color, which is made of a triple layer of pigments. It incorporates blue and ash grey iridescent highlights, plus aluminum pigments that help bring out the chiseled, muscular look of the body in a way no other color has achieved. The look is topped off by 20-inch Urano design alloy wheels, which are painted Liquid Metal, a color that was especially created for the concept vehicle. The shape of the wheels is luxurious and sporty at the same time.
Thanks to recently being named to Edmunds.com’s 2015 Most Popular list, the Ghibli is riding high with consumers. To win the award, a car must be one of the three most considered models in its market segment for the period of January 2014 through October 2014.
Of course, the Quattroporte is hot in another way. The GTS version of the sedan is the most powerful production Maserati on the market today, thanks to its V-8 Twin Turbo that kicks out 523 horsepower and 524 lb.-ft. of torque. Even the Quattroporte S Q4 is a real performer, thanks to its Twin Turbo V-6 that puts out a healthy 404 horsepower.
